Speculative reconstruction of the dilophosaurid neotheropod Dracovenator regenti. Because only parts of the skull from this dinosaur are known, the general proportions and anatomy are based on that of Dilophosaurus and coelophysoid-grade theropods. Dracovenator lived in what is now South Africa during the earliest Jurassic.

P.S. My really old scanner managed once again to totally mess up the colors and contrast of the original artwork. Unfortunately why limited skills with image editing programs got me only this far. Please keep this in mind when judging the quality of the image.
